biography
mary jessica lewis is currently attending savannah college of art and design, working towards her bfa in advertising design and a minor in motion media design.

growing up in a family of artists, mary was prone to interests in artistic fields. at a young age she developed an interest for drawing, but quickly redirected her time to theater. after investing several years to her love for performance art, she applied to new school for the arts and academics, where she expected to advance her education in the field. halfway through her freshman year, beautiful senior photography caught her eye, and she changed her major.

during her sophomore year, she was handed a scad catalogue. from then on, she would tell everyone she was moving to savannah, georgia, to pursue a bfa in photography. once accepted, she decided to put aside her passion for commercial photography, and study advertising -- which in her opinion, is the most influential art form that can be studied, balancing psychology and art.
